The American Physical Society is conducting an international search for a new Lead Editor of Physical Review B (PRB). The Lead Editor will provide leadership and vision regarding editorial standards, scope, and policies of the journal, and serves as the journals lead spokesperson. Physical Review B is the world’s largest dedicated physics journal covering condensed matter and materials physics. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: stature in a field of research within the scope of PRB; stature in the PRB author and referee community; editorial service with scholarly journals; management experience; ability to work effectively with an international array of authors, referees, and editors and with the APS; and the advocacy skills,
