Two Lecturers in Physics, Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA, USA
The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Georgia State University (GSU) invites applications for two full-time Lecturer positions to begin in August 2022. GSU is a nationally recognized university for its commitment to undergraduate teaching, and Lecturers at GSU directly contribute to the mission of educating its highly diverse student body. GSU Lecturers are full-time non-tenure track (NTT) faculty with both teaching (80%) and service (20%) requirements. They have the opportunity for promotion to the ranks of Senior Lecturer and Principal Senior Lecturer. Lecturers in the department have opportunities to participate in professional development, university-level teaching fellowships, and mini-grants through the Center for “Excellence in Teaching, Learning, and Online Education.”
