Assistant Professor (a joint position with LBNL) Nuclear Astrophysics/Fundamental Symmetries Theory Department of Physics The Physics Department at the University of California (UC), Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) are conducting a joint, open search to fill a tenure-track faculty position for an Assistant Professor in Nuclear Astrophysics/Fundamental Symmetries Theory with UC Berkeley and a Staff Scientist position at LBNL. We seek applicants from all related areas of the field: nuclear and neutrino astrophysics, fundamental symmetries, many-body theory including lattice QCD and quantum computation, high energy nuclear physics including the Electron-Ion Collider, and other emerging areas
