Visiting Faculty in Physics
The Physics Department at St. Olaf College seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor to teach 3.25 courses distributed across the January term and spring semester of 2021-2022. This represents a full-time load for half the year. The appointment begins on January 1, 2022.   Primary Responsibilities:  Teaching responsibilities include Electronics (during the January term), and introductory laboratories in electricity and magnetism and a Directed Undergraduate Research (DUR) course in the spring semester. The DUR course is an opportunity to mentor two undergraduate students in research.   Qualifications:  A Ph.D. in physics or closely related field (such as electrical engineering) and demonstrated potential for excel
