SUMMARY OF POSITION ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES: The Department of Physics at the Florida Polytechnic University is seeking applicants for the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor. Visiting Assistant Professor candidates should possess a commitment to teaching physics that supports undergraduates at all levels in the curriculum. The appointment will begin on August 15, 2024. This is a one-year position with the potential for reappointment. The Physics Department at Florida Polytechnic University offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics, that began in the fall of 2019.
