Associate Research Scientist
The Department of Physics at Columbia University invites applications for a position at the rank of Associate Research Scientist. This position will begin on June 1, 2023. The position requires a PhD degree in Physics or a related field and 3+ years experience. Potential research topics include the physics of ultracold dipolar molecules and their quantum phases.  Suitable candidates will conduct research in the Atomic, Molecular, and Optical (AMO) Physics group at the Department of Physics; manage a variety of collaborations with academic labs and national labs and contract research organizations; and will mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
