Atmospheric Science-Postdoctoral Researcher
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Postdoctoral Researcher to conduct research in atmospheric modeling for a variety of applications including wind energy, flow over complex terrain, and transport and dispersion of hazardous materials. Research projects for these applications require multi-scale atmospheric modeling, spanning from the mesoscale to the microscale, and often require development of the atmospheric simulation codes for improved performance. Familiarity with turbulence and surface-layer modeling, including canopy models, is desired, as is knowledge of atmospheric physics parameterizations. You will work with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, programmers, and project managers to develop and apply new modeling capabilit
