Faculty Tenure Track-9 Mo Physics [Job # 999627] Kent Campus – Kent, OH Opportunity: The Department of Physics at Kent State University invites applications for a tenure-track position in experimental high-energy nuclear physics. Although the position is primarily intended for the assistant professor level, candidates for appointments at higher ranks will be considered based upon qualifications. The successful candidate is expected to teach effectively at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and to initiate an independent and vigorous externally-funded research effort.  It is envisaged that this research program will complement and enhance Kent State
