Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics
The Department of Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science at Georgetown College invites applications for a visiting assistant professorship in Physics to begin in August 2023, pending funding. The position is renewable for up to three years, and should program development indicate the need for a tenure-track line, the successful candidate would be eligible to apply for it. A Ph.D. in Physics (or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate-level credit hours in Physics) is required. Persons with a background in Engineering Physics are especially encouraged to apply. The Department offers B.A. degrees in Mathematics and in Engineering Mathematics, along with minors in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, and Data Analysis.
