Assistant Professor in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics
The University of Kansas (KU) seeks an Assistant Professor in theoretical condensed matter physics (modeling) in the Department of Physics and Astronomy to begin 8/18/2023. This position is a full-time, academic-year appointment. The KU condensed matter physics group has research programs on nanomaterials, renewable energy, low-dimensional physics, superconductivity, organic semiconductors, ultrafast laser spectroscopy, and computational condensed matter physics. The group also plays a key role in promoting university-wide material research efforts. Qualifying candidates must have a doctorate degree in physics or a closely related.
