Materials Science, Engineer - Staff / Research Scientist
We have an opening for a materials scientist/engineer. You will perform a range of moderate to complex research in the area of metallography, sample preparation, microscopy, materials engineering, physical metallurgy, and materials characterization for several projects at LLNL. Some of this work will be performed on radioactive materials in an inert-atmosphere glovebox. This position is in the Materials Characterization Group in the Materials Science Division.This position will be filled at either the SES.2 or SES.3 level depending on your qualifications.
