The Department of Physics and Astronomy anticipates an opening for a full-time position at the level of Visiting Assistant Professor, beginning August 2022.  The position is for one year, with the possibility of renewal.  We are seeking an individual with demonstrated experience supervising experimental projects and teaching at the undergraduate level, who preferably holds a Ph.D. in physics or a closely related field.  The Department offers two majors, and one minor, in Physics, Engineering Physics, and Astronomy respectively.  During the summer of 2022, the Department of Physics and Astronomy will move into the new Pauley Science Center, which will house new teaching and laboratory facilities, along with a planetarium that will be used for both teaching and public outreach
