Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Physics
The Department of Chemistry & Physics at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Physics with a focus on Biophysics, and/or Quantum Information Science and Technology, and/or Artificial Intelligence beginning August 1, 2022. The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in physics by the start date. Teaching experience and postdoctoral research experience are strongly preferred. The candidate will teach lecture and laboratory courses in a wide range of courses including physics, general science, and astronomy. Candidates should also be willing to engage in a variety of instructional modalities, including online instruction.
