Cyber Systems and Infrastructure Assessments Associate Program Leader: Z Program
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory
- This position requires an active DOE Q-level clearance or active Top-Secret clearance issued by another U.S. government agency at the time of hire and must have the ability to obtain and maintain SCI access.
- Master's Degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline, political science, international relations, or the equivalent combination of education and significant related experience and demonstrated ability to lead the application and development of analytic principles, theories, and concepts in a creative and innovative fashion.
- Subject matter expert knowledge and significant experience working within or with the Intelligence Community (IC) and with scientific and technological issues associated with national security, to include energy, cyber, critical infrastructure, and other advanced technology issues.
- Substantial experience managing, leading, and supervising multidisciplinary projects and teams and delivering analytic support to external programmatic sponsors.
- Expert knowledge of Intelligence Community (IC) requirements, standards, and practices, including Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security marking, intelligence oversight and compliance, and related security practices.
- Substantial experience working in a classified environment with highly complex, multi-agency security requirements and with both classified and unclassified subject matter.
- Substantial experience with programs and projects for national security mission applications and understanding of national security mission requirements and related issues.
- Significant knowledge of all source intelligence analysis and tradecraft with a demonstrated track record of authoring and contributing to intelligence community and/or national security publications.
- Expert verbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively present, explain, and advise senior management and external sponsors and customers, including preparing and presenting proposals and analytic reports.
- Ability and willingness to travel in support of the program.
Additional qualifications, at the SEL.5 level
- Ph.D. in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline, political science, international relations, or the equivalent combination of education and significant related experience.
- Expert knowledge of and extensive experience leading and developing positions on, and performing assessments and analyses related to the national security aspects of energy, cyber, critical infrastructure, and other advanced technology issues.
- Technical knowledge of advancements and emerging technologies related to energy, cyber, and infrastructure systems that have global impact and the ability to champion, lead, and develop innovative principles, theories, and concepts.
