High Throughput Antibody Characterization Scientist
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory

  • B.S. degree or equivalent experience in biotechnology, biochemistry or a related scientific discipline
  • Comprehensive hands-on experience in high throughput protein characterization techniques
  • Proficiency with protein analytical techniques such as SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, ELISA or advanced immunoassay platforms (e.g., AlphaLISA, MSD, Gyrolab, Luminex)
  • Familiarity with protein characterization assays (e.g., SPR, BLI, capillary electrophoresis, DLS, DSF)
  • Experience using automated liquid handling systems and LIMS
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues from diverse scientific backgrounds
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced research environment.

    Qualifications We Desire

    • Design and execute experiments for high throughput antibody production and characterization using mammalian cell culture systems
    • Increase efficiency of protein expression, purification, and characterization.
    • Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, including gene cloning, transfection, and stable cell line generation
    • Experience with antibody or other protein developability assessment.
