Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics
King’s College has an opening for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics beginning in August 2024. Completion of a PhD in Physics or a related field is expected prior to or shortly after the date of hire. The successful candidate will teach across the physics curriculum, including introductory courses, labs and upper-level courses for the physics major. Preference will be given to individuals with a demonstrated commitment to undergraduate education, both in the classroom and in the laboratory. Prior college teaching experience is beneficial, as is research expertise that aligns with program needs. This position is primarily a teaching position. Research productivity is not an expectation.
