Brandeis University is conducting an assistant / associate faculty search in the interdisciplinary research areas of biological materials science and soft matter. We seek applications from experimentalists with exciting research plans in the field of bioinspired soft materials. On the one hand, we will consider any topic that is published in the journal Soft Matter. A non-exhaustive list of research areas that will be considered are materials chemistry, synthetic biology, self-assembling systems and active matter. Applicants should have a PhD involving Soft Matter research and the successful candidate will join either the Physics, Chemistry or Biochemistry departments.
