Assistant Professor of Physics
St. Mary’s College of Maryland invites applications for two (2) tenure track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor of Physics, beginning August 2024. Teaching responsibilities include introductory and upper-level undergraduate courses, possibly including introductory astronomy. The SMCM Physics Department received the 2017 Award for Improving Undergraduate Education from APS, and it was featured as a model in the report of the Joint Task Force on Undergraduate Physics Programs (J-TUPP) from APS and AAPT.
