Assistant Professor of Physics
The Department of Physics at High Point University invites applications for a full-time position in Physics at the Assistant Professor rank with a start date in August 2024. This position is a 9-month, non-tenure track position eligible for promotion to Associate and Professor ranks and multi-year contract extensions. Teaching responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate physics courses at all levels, with an opportunity to develop interdisciplinary honors and general education courses for non-science majors. The successful candidate will also be expected to develop and maintain an active research program involving undergraduate students, collaborate with faculty on curriculum and program development, and contribute to the Department and wider University through service responsi
