Visiting Lecturer
The Department of Physics & Astronomy at Texas Christian University invites applications for a full-time, non tenure-track lecturer position, to teach 4 courses in the Spring 2024 semester, beginning in January 2024. The review of applications will begin November 1, 2023 and continue until the position is filled. The position is a temporary, one-semester appointment. Candidates must have a graduate degree in physics, astronomy, or related field, and experience teaching at a four-year university. The ideal candidate will have the background necessary to teach courses in algebra- and calculus-based physics. Although a PhD is preferred, we will consider those with a master’s degree in physics, astronomy, or related field.
