The Agnes Scott College Department of Physics & Astronomy invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in physics beginning in the fall of 2024.  Candidates should have a PhD in physics or a closely related field (astronomy, atmospheric sciences, environmental physics, or space sciences, for example), completed by August, 2024.   Applicants should be able to teach a wide range of physics courses across all undergraduate levels, offer engaging research opportunities to undergraduate students in physics or closely related areas, and emphasize equity and inclusion for students with marginalized identities working in the physical sciences.
