The Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Physics, South Dakota State University (SDSU) seeks applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the area of magnetic materials synthesis and characterization, which will be supported by the grant titled “High-Throughput Computational and Experimental Approach to the Design of Unconventional Magnets”. This position will be responsible for conducting experimental research on the synthesis and characterization of various theoretically predicted novel magnetic materials. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Physics, Applied Physics, Chemistry, or a related field and a strong hands-on experience in bulk and thin film materials synthesis.
