Postdoctoral Fellowship in Quantum Navigation
Two postdoctoral positions are available immediately in Professor Cory’s laboratory for the development of a quantum navigational device in collaboration with industry partners. This work will apply optimal control theory, including machine-learning algorithms and Bayesian estimation, to coherent control of nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond. The scientifically and technically challenging project will be carried out with a team of industry researchers to facilitate rapid development in technology readiness and real-world testing. Applicants should have an advanced degree (PhD) in physics, applied mathematics, chemistry or electrical engineering, and should have a background in experimental quantum systems.
