The Department of Physics at Emory University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in experimental condensed matter physics or optics, broadly defined, to begin in fall 2024. The candidate will be part of the growing condensed matter physics and optics group in the department and will benefit from an interdisciplinary environment that includes interactions with strong programs in soft matter physics, biophysics and quantum chemistry at Emory, collaborations with Georgia Tech and Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and extensive support and mentoring resources for research and teaching.
