Faculty Position in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics
The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics, to begin September 1, 2024. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) in Physics or a related field and have a record of research and publication. Rutgers condensed matter science has a long and distinguished history of seminal contributions in the field. The current research topics in the group include quantum materials, collective behavior of many-particle systems, the physics of surfaces, interfaces, nanostructures and thin films, organic semiconductors, and quantum information science. The group employs state of the art research techniques including advanced spectroscopies
