Assistant Professor in Experimental Particle Physics
The University of Arizona (UA) Physics Department invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in experimental particle physics starting Fall 2024. The existing group includes four faculty and one research professor with research focus on the ATLAS experiment. The group is pursuing a variety of beyond-the-Standard Model searches and interpretations in LHC Run 3 as well as holding several responsibilities for HL-LHC detector upgrades. The group invites applications from members of all experimental particle physics collaborations, and from those in related fields including Instrumentation, Quantum Information, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning.
