Teaching Assistant Professor
The Department of Physics at Duquesne University invites applications for a non-tenure-track position in physics at the Teaching Assistant Professor level, for the academic year 2023-24. We are seeking a dynamic individual with a genuine commitment to teaching, excellent interpersonal skills and strong qualifications to teach experimental skills to undergraduate physics majors in preparation for industrial jobs and graduate studies. We have seven faculty members and between 25 and 35 students (all years). We have a commitment to implement Physics Education Research (PER) in our curriculum.
