Teaching Assistant Professor, Physics
The Department of Physics at the University of Nevada, Reno invites applications for a full-time (9-month, non-tenure track) Teaching Assistant Professor. The position’s primary duties will be to teach courses at the undergraduate level in physics. A successful candidate will demonstrate effective teaching in large lecture courses and smaller upper-level courses. The expected load per semester is three courses. Additional desired skills include experience in modern teaching techniques developed by physics education research and experience with assessment activities and curriculum mapping.
