Assistant Professor in Experimental Spintronics
The Department of Physics (physics.ucf.edu) at the University of Central Florida invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track experimentalist at the assistant professor level anticipated to begin in August 2023. We seek candidates whose experience and plans emphasize fundamental experimental research in spintronics. Specific fields of interest include neuromorphic spintronics, high-frequency spintronic devices, spintronic integrated circuits, spintronic quantum computing, scalable spin-based devices, or similar fields. The successful candidate’s research is expected to leverage a recent major investment by UCF in cleanroom facilities for fabrication of state-of-the-art micro- and nano-scale devices. The successful candidate is expected to establish a vigorous, externally funded,
