Assistant Professor of Physics
Defiance College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Physics. Responsibilities include a 12-credit per semester teaching load in introductory level courses in Physics (Calculus and non-Calculus based) and in the applicant’s area of expertise for General Science and Engineering Students. The position duties also include academic advising; assisting with program leadership and curriculum development; committee work; and service to the college. Applicants must have a Doctorate in Physics or a related field; advanced ABD will be considered. Applicants with experience teaching college physics are desirable.
