The Department of Physics at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics with emphasis in clean energy applications beginning fall 2023. We prefer candidates with experience in renewable energies/energy storage materials. Outstanding candidates in other areas of condensed matter physics will be considered. The selected candidate is expected to develop and maintain an independent, externally funded on-campus research program involving students. The selected candidate’s research is expected to complement the existing areas within the department, and the candidate is strongly encouraged to work closely with other researchers within the department and on UTEP campus.
