Assistant Professor of Physics
The Physics Department at Hamilton College invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning July 1, 2023. Candidates for either position are expected to teach a variety of courses from across the physics curriculum, develop a thriving on-campus research program involving undergraduates, and contribute to ongoing departmental efforts to integrate inclusive pedagogies and course content. For one position we seek an experimental physicist who can teach advanced laboratory courses and supervise hands-on experimental physics senior thesis projects. For the other position, preference will be given to candidates who specialize in experimental physics but we will consider candidates from historically underrepresented demographics regardless
