The Department of Physics at High Point University invites applications for two full-time positions at the Assistant Professor rank with a start date of August 2023. These positions are 9-month, non-tenure track positions eligible for promotion to Associate and Full Professor ranks and multi-year contract extensions. The first position gives preference to experimentalists specializing in biophysics, optics, hard or soft condensed matter, or similar interdisciplinary fields. For the second position, we are seeking an experimentalist who will be responsible for modernizing the advanced laboratory curriculum.
