Department members play leading roles in a wide range of research projects, including the Dark Energy Survey (DES), Rubin Observatory's Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST), Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO), South Pole Telescope (SPT), and many others; more details can be found at the Department website.
