INTRODUCTION The Department of Physics at the University of Connecticut (UConn) invites applications for two non-tenure teaching appointments at the rank of Assistant Professor in Residence (APiR), beginning in the Fall 2022 semester. One faculty position will be located at the UConn Hartford campus and the other at the Stamford campus. The successful candidate will be expected to share a deep commitment to effective instruction at the undergraduate level and to the informal mentoring of students in their professional development.
