Open Rank/Tenure Track Faculty in Physics 2022-2023
The Department of Physics and Optical Engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank in physics starting August 15, 2022. Requirements for the position include an earned PhD in physics or a closely related field. All but dissertation or near degree completion will be considered if in-hand by the start date. The successful candidate will be expected to teach introductory, calculus-based physics courses and labs and core and elective physics courses offered by the department. The institute highly values exceptional teaching and therefore evidence of potential, or demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching, is a plus.
