WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY’s Department of Physics is seeking applications for one to two Visiting Assistant Professors beginning July 2022. We seek highly qualified candidates who have a commitment to excellence in teaching. A Ph.D. in Physics or a related area is required. Standard teaching load for a Visiting Assistant Professor is three courses per semester made up of a mixture of lecture and laboratory classes. Usually these are at the introductory level, but teaching upper level courses is also possible. Founded in 1834, the University is ranked among the top 30 national universities.
