The Illinois Institute of Technology seeks an individual for a full-time, 9-month position as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physics (https://www.iit.edu/physics). The appointment period for this position is from 1-5 years and may be renewed. The start date is August 15th, 2022. We seek candidates with a strong Astronomy/Astrophysics background to manage our Astrophysics program and teach undergraduate courses in Physics and Astrophysics. The successful applicant would be expected to teach undergraduate physics courses in Mechanics, E&M and Modern Physics as well as the astrophysics courses required by our program.
