Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics – One-Year Appointment 2022-2023
Position Summary: The Department of Physics at Gettysburg College invites applications for one or two one-year positions as Visiting Assistant Professor in physics beginning August 2022. Our preference is for individuals who have engaged in research-supported pedagogy centered around student learning and who foster active learning environments. The teaching load for this position will be three courses each semester, where either a lecture or laboratory section is considered to be one course. Ability to teach introductory astronomy is preferred but not required.
