Experimental-Physics Education Specialist
The W.M. Keck Science Department of Claremont McKenna College, Pitzer College, and Scripps College (members of the 7-member Claremont Colleges Consortium) seeks to hire an Experimental-Physics Education Specialist, starting July 1, 2022.  The position combines three essential tasks: (1) managing laboratory operations, (2) pedagogical laboratory development, and (3) teaching instructional physics labs, and depending on departmental needs and qualifications of the candidate, lecture courses such as introductory or upper-division offerings.  We seek a passionate teacher of undergraduates with broad interdisciplinary interests to join our ongoing effort to update and expand our experimental physics curriculum, and to lead the modernization of our introductory physics labs for non-majors.
