Post Doctoral Researcher in Theoretical Cold Atom Physics
The Physics Department is seeking applicants for a two-year postdoctoral research position in theoretical cold atom physics. Specifically, the work will involve examining polaron systems, where the properties of the polaron itself will be studied or the polaron will be used as a probe of the bulk system. The successful applicant we be mentored by one faculty at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. As the position is a part of FRG-3 of the EQUATE collaboration, it will involve interactions with faculty from Creighton University, University of Nebraska-Lincoln and University of Nebraska-Omaha. 1) The successful applicant will produce peer-reviewed manuscripts in cooperation with faculty mentors and their collaborators, 2) Actively participate in EQUATE collaboration meetings and activit
