Visiting Professor, Physics
The Department of Physics and Astronomy invites applications for a visiting faculty position in physics beginning in August 2021 for the 2021-2022 academic year. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in physics or a closely related field, a demonstrated record of excellence in undergraduate teaching and be actively involved in research. We are seeking candidates with a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The successful candidate will teach core physics courses at the lower-division and upper-division level, including lectures and labs. According to current plans, there will be in-person and online instruction in the Fall. The workload is 12-units of teaching and 3-units of research and service per semester.
