DAVIDSON COLLEGE – Two-Year Visiting Assistant Professor Davidson College invites applications for a two-year position at the level of Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics starting July 1, 2021. We seek a physicist who will teach classroom and laboratory courses in introductory physics, including courses taught in studio (combined lecture/lab) format. Depending on interest and experience, teaching an advanced course may be possible. Teaching load is five classes per year. Candidates are also expected to be highly committed to excellence in both undergraduate teaching and scholarly research. Candidates must possess a PhD in Physics or related field by Fall 2021.
