New Mexico Tech Physics Department
The Physics Department at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology (New Mexico Tech) invites applications for a full-time Instructor or Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics for the 2021-2022 academic year. The expected teaching load is 3 courses per semester. Our department has 12 full-time tenure-track faculty; we offer undergraduate specializations in atmospheric physics and astrophysics, as well as robust research and graduate degrees in those areas and in physics instrumentation. NM Tech is a federally-designated Hispanic Serving Institution, and roughly 1/3 of the physics faculty and majors
