The Department of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Utah invites applications from outstanding candidates for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in astronomy & astrophysics. We are especially interested in candidates with experience in computational applications to research problems, e.g., for large datasets/surveys, numerical simulations, etc. We seek candidates who also show promise as effective educators and mentors, and who will contribute positively to a diverse and inclusive environment within the department and at the University of Utah.
