The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics (R0112458). The successful candidate is expected to carry out an active, independent research program and teach students effectively at all levels. The successful candidate will also be expected to participate in service activities. We are interested in candidates who are at the frontier of experimental research in condensed matter physics (including materials science) and want to build their own cutting-edge research laboratory at UNLV. Preference will be given to candidates who strengthen or complement the current research activities in the department (http://www.physics.unlv.edu/).
