Senior Experimental Physicist will join a team of highly qualified culturally diverse Engineers developing game changing X-ray technology for the oil and gas industry inside a small fast paced company where every employee has a significant impact on company results. The successful candidate will design, execute, and analyze results of experiments to develop & invent new techniques & tools using X-rays to diagnose oil wells. She or he has expert-level knowledge of X-ray laboratory equipment & techniques, expert-level knowledge of data processing software & methods and is comfortable with the physics of X-ray radiation transport to critically assess results and draw conclusions that further the understanding of the tool behavior and technique. The successful candidate clearly communicates results, conclusions, and recommendations to peers and supervisors.
Desired skills and qualifications include: PhD in radiation or nuclear physics – 10 years’ experience in X-ray/gamma ray domain; setting and prioritizing achievable goals; self-starter requiring little or no supervision, team player.
