The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging, Yale University School of Medicine, has a Postdoctoral Associate Position Open in MR Physics related to the development of new MR methods including the development of novel MR imaging devices. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in physics (in a field related to RF design, electromagnetic theory, or NMR), and experience with MR associated hardware such as rf coils, or magnetic field design software. Physicists without direct MR experience but with a solid background in electromagnetic theory will also be considered. The appointment will be made for a period of 2 years, starting immediately, with the possibility of an extension dependent upon the availability of further funding.
