Monmouth College invites applications for a one-year visiting Assistant Professor position in the Physics Department beginning in August 2017. We anticipate that a Tenure-Track position to be available starting in the 2018-19 academic year, and the successful candidate for this one-year position will be welcome to apply. All sub-disciplines will be considered, but preference given to Astronomer/Astrophysicist. Ph.D. is required. The successful candidate will be committed to undergraduate teaching excellence, scholarly activity, and Monmouth’s liberal arts mission. Normal teaching load is 6 courses per year.
