Otterbein University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics beginning August 2017. This is a full-time position for the 2017-18 academic year. The position may become renewable or it may be replaced with a tenure-track position in future years. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in physics at the introductory and/or upper-year levels, depending on expertise and experience. Qualified candidates must hold a Ph.D. in physics or expect to receive one by the start date. The successful candidate will demonstrate a dedication to undergraduate education. Specialization in experimental physics (AMO, condensed matter, biophysics, or similar) is desirable but not required.
